Happy Hours at Piotr & Violetta Kralka mountain lake house - weekend of June 29

The Polish-American Club of the Triangle  and Piotr & Violetta Kralka cordially invite PAC Members to spend a weekend at Piotr & Violetta mountain lake house.

When: June 29 - July 1, 2018; Friday (evening) through  Sunday (afternoon)
Where: Mount Airy, NC (once registered, you will receive exact address & phone # to contact)

You must Register by sending email to (polam.raleigh@gmail.com) stating the following: number of guests and day(s) you plan to stay. (children & small dogs are welcome)
Space is limited and we will accept registration on first come - first get basis.
Due date for registration is June 20, 2018

In addition to spending time with our friendly Hosts and fellow Club Members, you can choose among several attractions that the area can provide: 

   River tubing $5/per person for 45 min or $10 for 3 hours/person
   Swimming pool nearby
   Canoeing; Fishing; Biking; Hiking etc...

Sleeping arrangements: Hosts can provide 2 beds; 3 sofas; few air mattresses. All on a first come - first get basis.  
Be prepared to sleep in a big common room under your own sleeping bag. Tents are not allowed. You need to bring your own bed sheets.

Food: You will need to bring a food to share with others. We will provide details upon registration

The Polish-American Club of the Triangle cordially invites you to the annual Polish-American May Picnic - Majowka. 

We will celebrate Polish Constitution Day with games and outdoor activities (plaiting garlands/plecienie wiankow; Drowning of Marzanna; coloring).

Where: Harris Lake County Park (2112 County Park Drive, New Hill, NC 27562); Look for signs to Longleaf Shelter

Cost of attendance (per person - paid at the door – cash, checks and credit cards accepted):
Adults (18+): Club members: $7, non-members: $12 
Accompanied Children:  FREE

Looking for Volunteers to be Champions in organizing the Culture Booth during the International Festival in October

The Polish American Club (PAC) is looking for Volunteers to Lead the Organization of The Polish Culture Booth during the International Festival in October 26-28th, 2018.

We would like to promote Poland as a modern country; thriving economically and culturally; and finally as a proud member of the European Union.

All volunteers will have to participate in the organizational meeting on May 9th, 2018,  5:30PM  at 4741 Ludwell Branch Ct, Raleigh NC.

What is expected from the Culture Booth Organizers:

  1. Work with PAC Board to fully understand requirements for the event registration and preparations (www.internationalfocusnc.org/festival
  2. Attend a planning meeting on May 9th
  3. Design, Prepare, Setup, Take down and Manage Culture Booth for International Festival October 26-28th
  4. Create and manage group of supporting volunteers (minimum commitment of 2-3 hrs.)

How PAC Board will help Culture Booth Organizers:

  1. Reimburse all preapproved expenses
  2. Provide PAC email and website to inform/reach/promote/... the Culture Booth Event
  3. Help with finding resources if asked
  4. Help with the design of booth if asked

We are having very important Polish American Club (PAC) Meeting on March 20th to elect the Club's acting Vice President.

All are invited, but based on our Club Constitution only PAC Members in good standing (dues paid for 2018) can vote.  You can pay your dues online or at the meeting.

    Currently leading efforts for development and licensing of biological peptides, plant elicitors, at Plant Health Care, AgBiological and Biostimulants start up company. 
    Member of Credentials Advisory Council, Sustainability Institute at AICHE, Chairman of Sustainability Body of Knowledge Team for AICHE certification and CSTP, member of IFS Managing Board.
    Ph.D. and M.S. in plant pathology and biochemistry in Seed Biocontrol, post-doctoral from Cornell University in biocontrol, MBA in finance from the University of Rochester.

    I have a  M.S. in Psychology and I already know the bylaw of the club. 
    I cannot wait to be a part of the board of the PAC which promotes Polish Culture in North Carolina.

    Fill position of Acting Vice-President of PAC

    We are seeking candidates for the position of Acting Vice-President of the Polish American Club (PAC)

    As many of you know our President Jan Krzysztof Teller resigned from his position in Fall 2017.

    Until the general election in the Fall of 2018:

    Stephanie Hurt, our Vice President, is now acting President of the Polish American Club of Triangle (PAC), thus we are seeking candidates to fill  in the position of
    Acting Vice- President of PAC.

    Please state the name of the candidate with short paragraph of the candidate bio (in English).

    If you nominate someone (not yourself), please make sure that the candidate has agreed to run for the position before you send the email.

    Then, we will announce all candidates and schedule PAC meeting to hold the election (most probably March 20th).

    Please note:
    According to our by-laws, the candidates and all who will vote  must be PAC Members in good standing (it means that he/she must pay 2018 club dues prior to the voting).
