First Walking Club Meeting
🇺🇸 Searching for Trolls at Dorothea Dix Park
Our first PAC Walking Club gathering is officially behind us! On October 3, we met at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh and set out together to find five giant trolls hidden throughout the park.
The walk was a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy each other’s company, and discover one of Raleigh’s most unique attractions. After our troll adventure, participants could continue the gathering over lunch or coffee.
The remarkable sculptures were created by Thomas Dambo, a Danish artist and recycling activist known for creating enormous works of art from reclaimed materials. His giant trolls can be discovered in locations around the world. Five live at Dorothea Dix Park, while two more connected to the same North Carolina story can be found in Charlotte and High Point.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first walk. This is just the beginning of many PAC Walking Club adventures to come!
🇵🇱 W poszukiwaniu trolli w Dorothea Dix Park
Dziękujemy wszystkim, którzy dołączyli do naszego pierwszego spaceru. To dopiero początek wspólnych wypraw PAC Walking Club!
